A database of ancestral towns and surnames currently being researched by Jewish genealogists around the world.
The JewishGen Family Finder (JGFF) is a compilation of surnames and ancestral towns currently being researched by Jewish genealogists worldwide. Search the JGFF to find other researchers with similar interests, then reach out to exchange information and expand your family history. You must be logged in to add or manage your own entries.
The JGFF is indexed and cross-referenced by both surname and town name, making it easy to find researchers with overlapping interests. All Jewish genealogists are encouraged to participate by adding their own ancestral surnames and towns.
For complete information about the database, including instructions for searching and adding entries, see the JGFF Frequently Asked Questions.
